The Challenges In IT Procurement

In Q3 of 2017 ProcureCon IT and WBR Digital surveyed 100 IT Procurement leaders based in Europe. The research targeted companies in a range of industries, with a focus on their activities in Europe. Respondents to the survey were Global IT Sourcing Leads, Heads of IT Procurement, Heads of IT Vendor Management or others of an equal standing. The survey was conducted by appointment over the telephone. The results were compiled and anonymised by ProcureCon IT and WBR Digital and are presented here with analysis and commentary by the ProcureCon IT community.

Roadmap To Best Practices Of IT Integrated Procurement

Roadmap to Best Practices of IT Integrated Procurement Talking to many CIOs, CFOs and CPOs on IT Integrated Procurement and the pain points are always the same--- “Show me how to consolidate, streamline, cut costs, reduce risk and optimize.  Increase efficiency and make the processes that are used, better and simpler.

Ultimately, how can I optimize IT spend and get the greatest value from all areas of IT and IT Procurement?”

Optimizing spend is realized through both people and processes---- vendor management, contract and asset management, controlling Tail Spend and leveraging supplier diversity. Placing greater emphasis on value of assets, as in total cost of ownership, including value in relationships and creating partnerships.

This White Paper will explore these pain points through key questions and provide a basic Best Practices Roadmap on IT Integrated Procurement and driving value via people and processes.
