Jacco Marks (Past Speaker)

Jacco is a Senior Global Procurement Manager at KPMG where he has worked for over 13 years. Jacco heads up the team looking for vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP ProofPoint and service providers such as DXC, etc. . The primary focus of the team is to develop (long-term) category strategies, negotiate contracts, drive savings, protect the brand, etc. Centrally managing cloud adoption ambitions for a globally dispersed company where network member firms request local independence has been one of his main focus areas in recent years. Notable projects that he has worked on are enterprise agreement renewals, datacentre and hosting services agreements, etc. His focus at KPMG as well as in previous procurement roles for global companies has always been ICT which mirrors his passion for trends and adoption of new technologies. Jacco will be co-hosting the Deep Dive Classroom ‘The Great Migration, Flocking To The Cloud – How Does This Impact Licensing?’ on the 6th December.
