Hayley Waddington (Past Speaker)

Hayley is an Associate in CMS London’s technology and data protection team. She is currently advising high profile clients on GDPR compliance projects, including largescale contract remediation, underlying audit procedures with internal business teams and strategic cross-jurisdictional advice. Hayley has particular expertise in IT outsourcing and cloud computing arrangements, with a focus on regulated sectors. She was recently seconded to a UK high street bank to work on the digital transformation of its IT infrastructure – working closely with its procurement team. Before becoming a lawyer, Hayley worked as a project manager on change projects for TESCO in Shanghai. She has spent time working at CMS’ Beijing office and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
