Robert Picalek (Past Speaker)

Robert has been at Generali Switzerland since August 2018 and developed the IT procurement section on the greenfield. He is also responsible for the travel and facility management categories. Within IT procurement Robert’s key duties include the RFIs/RFPs/procurement of all IT categories, spend analysis, negotiations and producing/drafting of contracts.  He is in close collaboration with Generali stakeholders as well as suppliers within and outside Switzerland.  Robert has 13+ years of professional experience as a strategic sourcing manager of indirect procurement (IT & Non-IT) within agile, very dynamic and fast moving local and global companies, inter alia in the insurance, telecommunications and glass packaging industry.
